We know sometimes you've got a few questions prior to booking accommodation. We've compiled a list of our most common FAQ's for you... 1. How many guests can you accommodate? - The Inkwell has been perfectly curated for two guests. The Inkwell has a comfortable queen-sized bed. 2. Is The Inkwell wheelchair accessible? - Unfortunately, The Inkwell isn't wheelchair accessible. The Inkwell is a heritage listed and converted warehouse style. Living sprawls over two levels therefore stairs are to be expected along with a few low doorways. 3. Are pets welcome? - We are an urban apartment in the heart of the city. We are also heritage listed and part of a lovely little strata community that doesn't allow pets. 4. Is The Inkwell sensory friendly accommodation? - We've done our very best to make everyone feel welcome and at home. You'll find soft/dimmable lighting throughout, layers of texture and quiet spaces to retreat. We don't use any reed diffusers or artificial fragrance at The Inkwell just pure essential oils. A local aromatherapist Kyrie from Kindred Self blends oils for our guests to promote a sense of calm and well-being. We also provide a white-noise machine and ear plugs for our guests. 5. Where can I park? - Our guests have access to one space in our secure off street parking garage. There is also free street parking if you've got two vehicles. 6. Where can I walk to on foot? - The Inkwell is centrally located an easy walk to grab a coffee, drinks, brunch, lunch and dinner. We are also a short walk from the Port River, a number of museums and galleries. The Port Mall is also within walking distance for groceries, pharmacy and other amenities. 7. Do you welcome business travellers? - Absolutely! We've actually become the preferred stay of many companies that have team members visiting Adelaide on business. 8. Is The Inkwell a small apartment? - No, its spacious open plan living across two levels. Guests often comment about how comfortable The Inkwell is. We have a full-size kitchen, two living areas, bedroom, bathroom/laundry and plenty of storage to stock the pantry and unpack your suitcases. 9. Do you accommodate children/babies? - The Inkwell isn't a suitable stay for children or babies. The Inkwell is a grown-up escape that encourages you to step out of your world for a window of time. 10. If I wanted to explore South Australia's wine regions how far away are they? - Another reason why we love our location! The Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and the Barossa are all under an hour from The Inkwell. Clare Valley is 1.5 hours from The Inkwell, still an achievable daytrip. 12. Are you close to the beach? - Yes, The Inkwell is just over the bridge from arguably metro Adelaide's best beaches. Both Semaphore and Largs Bay Beaches are within an easy drive of The Inkwell.
